exciting professional and cultural exchange and get first-hand
experience with China's contemporary ceramic art scene. The program includes visits to Beijing, Xi'an, Jingdezhen, and Shanghai.
Mary Hu has
been invited by the Shanghai Workers' Center for International Exchange
to bring a group of professionals in the metals field to China
September 10-21 to meet with Chinese metalsmiths. The delegation will
visit Shanghai at the time of the International Expo, Hangzhou, and the
Sichuan province to concentrate on studying Tibetan Minority costumes
and jewelry.
