Scott Heimberger is Vice President of Business Development for Global FabTech, Inc., a US owned and managed Chinese Contract Manufacturing firm specializing in Medical Devices. Global FabTech’s manufacturing facility is located in a Shanghai, China and the company headquarters and transit warehouse is located in North Bend, WA.
Scott speaks fluent Mandarin and began working and living in China in 1989. As a sourcing representative for Henlux Ltd in the early 1990s Scott learned the ins and outs of dealing with Chinese manufacturers and Chinese government agencies while also being involved in the opening of a large manufacturing joint venture. Prior to Global FabTech Scott served as Senior Financial Analyst for the largest port management company in the United States, analyzing new and potential international projects.
Scott received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington (China Studies- 1988) and his graduate degree (M.S. Finance – 1997) and additional post graduate work from Seattle University under scholarship from the Seattle chapter of Chartered Financial Analysts.
